amika x sephora slc 2019

A four-room funhouse which at the Sephora SLC Conference 2019 in Las Vegas. Each room represents a top-selling collection at Sephora; the rooms in order are Signature (Perk Up Dry Shampoo), Sexture (Texture Collection), Blonde, and IRED (thermal straightening brush). From initial project briefing, I worked in all stages extensively to concept the overall theme of the booth, the treatment of the rooms, and led creative on all proposed install renderings and concepts. Worked in collaboration with Crozier Studio for booth fabrication and renderings. My favorite project to date!

EXTERIOR

The exterior of the booth was covered in animated LED neon signage taken from the brand’s DNA, mounted on glossy black laminate to preserve the integrity of the LED’s glow. The curtains are compromised of the signature amika flower, in the style of 1970’s beaded curtains.

SIGNATURE ROOM

The first room is based off the brand’s best-selling / cult-classic dry shampoo. We decided to line the room with orange and pink plexiglass cut to look like a solid pattern emanating from a mirror where you can test the product. A larger than life best selling product spins in the corner on a lazy suzan.

TEXture room

The second room is based off of the texture collection (aptly named Sexture)

A larger than life best selling product spins in the corner on a lazy susan.
